About the Author


Dr. Gerald Fuller
Dr. Gerald Fuller, Professor of Cell Biology, received his Ph.D. degree in biology from the University of California at San Diego in 1968 and then carried out postdoctoral studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1970, he was appointed to the faculty of Medicine in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Texas medical School at Galveston, where he remained from 1970 to 1985 and attained the rank of Professor. Dr. Fuller joined the University of Alabama at Birmingham faculty in 1985 as a Professor of Cell Biology where he still lectures today.
