The SCID–I:CV provides you with a systematic method of assessing symptoms that incorporates DSM-IV™ criteria and helps you determine standardized and accurate diagnoses for adult individuals. Specifically designed for use in clinical settings, the SCID–I:CV covers the DSM-IV™ diagnoses that are most commonly seen by clinicians and includes the full diagnostic criteria for these disorders with corresponding interview questions. The interview takes 45–90 minutes to complete. It is divided into six self-contained modules that can be administered in sequence.
How to Use the Assessment
The SCID–I:CV Scoresheet is a one-time-use form used to record diagnostic decisions and abridged DSM-IV™ diagnostic criteria. The SCID–I:CV User’s Guide provides guidance on the interview process and training materials with sample cases for practice, while the Administration Booklet provides interview questions and DSM-IV™ diagnostic criteria.
