The CPT II V.5 is a task-oriented computerized assessment of attention disorders and neurological functioning. Results indicate the likelihood that an individual has an attention disorder. The CPT II V.5 can be used to support parent and teacher rating scales such as the Conners 3 or the CRS–R.
The CPT II is useful outside of ADHD, targeting potential problems related to executive functions such as time perception, internal ordering, working memory, and motor control. This test can also be used to investigate the neurological performance of individuals with attention, impulsivity, or activity control problems
.
