Dear Valued Client,
2013 is an exciting milestone for MHS as we will be celebrating 30 years of helping professionals like you help others (and my 10th year with the company). When I reflect on the evolution of the company, I can honestly say that I am astounded by the changes. During the past 30 years we have seen a shift in perceptions as now many clients are interested in online assessments because of the accessibility, ease of use, cost effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. Our MHS Online Assessment Center gives you access to many of our vital assessments through the convenience of a fast, secure, and user-friendly platform.
In the past year, MHS announced the acquisition of Functional Assessment Systems (FAS), including the CAFAS® and JIFF®. The CAFAS® is recognized as a premier assessment for youth functioning, and the JIFF® is a new innovative web-based, live-voice interview designed for youth in juvenile justice and health-related settings. We are excited to introduce the JIFF®, CAFAS®, and other FAS assessments into our product line at MHS Inc. These tools have shown effective financial and clinical results for problem identification in youth and subsequent diversion to services.
Throughout 2013, we will continue to develop a number of quality products. We are particularly excited about the Conners Continuous Performance Test III (CPT III), which will be available by late 2013. Keep an eye out for more information on this powerful revision of a gold standard assessment.
In the past few years, we have seen a vast growth in our Emotional Intelligence Division. This includes the launches of EQ-i 2.0® and the EQ 360 2.0®. Many of you raved about the new and intuitive model, reports, and EQ-i 2.0 Portal. In fact, the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 2.0 have been described as the exact tool many of our customers needed to improve their businesses. In continuation of this growth we have expanded our EI Division to create a new Performance Assessment Division, which will continue to provide more new and innovative tools to assist businesses.
In 2013, our attention will continue to be on improving the assessment experience for clinician’s and their clients. As always, we ask for your feedback so that we can continue to provide you with the service that you have come to expect over the last 30 years from MHS. Feedback can be emailed to: Publisher@mhs.com, or you can find us on Facebook (MHSassessments), LinkedIn (MHS Clinical & Education, The Emotional Intelligence Connection), and Twitter (@MHS_Inc, @eiconnection).
